Singapore travel info
Good preparation before departure makes the on-site itinerary far easier. The list below is a basic checklist worth reviewing before your consultation.
Pre-departure checklist
Entry information
Korean passport holders can stay in Singapore visa-free for up to 90 days. Your passport must have at least 6 months' validity remaining. The SG Arrival Card must be completed online within 3 days before entry.
Weather & what to pack
Singapore has a hot, humid tropical climate year-round, with average temperatures of 25–32°C. Light summer clothes, sunscreen and an umbrella are essential. Indoor air-conditioning is strong, so a thin outer layer is recommended.
Currency & exchange
Singapore uses the Singapore dollar (SGD). Credit cards are accepted at most shops and restaurants, and you can exchange money at good rates at money changers near Mustafa Centre.
Transport
Singapore's MRT (subway) and buses are very well developed, so you can reach most attractions by public transport. An EZ-Link card is convenient. Grab (the Southeast Asian taxi app) is also widely used.
Customs & import rules
Singapore has strict import rules. Cigarettes cannot be brought in without declaration (a fine per pack if caught undeclared), and e-cigarettes are completely banned from possession and sale. Chewing gum is also banned. Alcohol may be brought in up to 2 litres per adult (1 litre for spirits).
Entry & customs
Singapore has strict rules on cigarettes, e-cigarettes, chewing gum and more. Always check the latest rules before departure, and verify declaration standards for ambiguous items.
Weather & clothing
It's hot and humid outdoors but indoor air-conditioning is strong. A thin outer layer, an umbrella and comfortable shoes make family travel much easier.
Johor Bahru transfers
Itineraries crossing the Singapore–Malaysia border can involve immigration waiting times. We leave plenty of buffer between the round and your flight.
Prep tips by travel type
Family travel
- Split the kids' schedule into a key morning course and an indoor/rest course in the afternoon.
- Linking meals and experiences — chilli crab, dim sum, the river cruise — reduces travel between stops.
- With a stroller and luggage, a private vehicle is often more comfortable than public transport.
Golf travel
- Forest City is great for combining a golf-resort stay with rounds.
- Check whether on-site costs such as caddie fees, lunch/dinner and massage are included in the package.
- For a round on departure day, allow generous time for a shower, the border crossing and reaching the airport.
Institution/school visits
- School and institution visits need advance arrangement and a clear visit purpose.
- English presentations may be involved, so let us know in advance whether interpretation is needed.
- For groups, confirm the visitor list, bus drop-off points and security procedures in advance.
